Haggs bank Bunkhouse , Nent Head,

Haggs Bank
Up on the roof of England there is a place to try
Where the hills meet the sky you will find a bank
If you want quiet and a peaceful time, don't ask why
Try once and and after, I'll take your thanks.
Where the men of old dug deep for ore
The lead mines in the hills
Haggs Bank keeps you warm for sure
And cures your weary ills
The bunkhouse and the camp ground
have a welcome that is warm
A precious gem you have now found
But now you have to been warned
Once bitten by the place and views
your bound to want to come back
The fens and roads they get to you
If you can master Cumbrian craic.
Don't take me for my word just yet
Take the road from Penrith, east
Then climb Hartside Moor to get
To Alstons cobbled streets
And on the road to Nenthead
You will discover a place to rest
The welcome will be wonderfull
And the breakfast is the best.
