Overland magazine had an event
for those who travel and sleep in tents
And those called Bill, Sally & Michael.
They came from far by motorcycle.

Some have been around the world
on roads that mainly twist and turn
And some have plans to go far away
so watch those that went and didn't stay.

Tales of woe and triumphant routes
buying bits and brand new boots
Maybe titanium mugs might be
just the answer for lighter tea.

As one man said about his journey
to go is better to stay most weary.
If a journey starts with twist of throttle
You can go on forever if you got the bottle.

Thanks to Pad and Nich and gang the weekend was bloody great
Drop your tents and load up your bikes
last one out shut the gate.
