NC500 2016

The day dawns for the men on motorbikes
The North calls out to the few.
They choose to ride and not to hike
500 miles 'The Noo'.

Coast of Scotland land of hills
That roll down to the sea.
The air is fresh and cures all ills
It's a ride for you and me.

Applecross we start the route
after a haul of miles up there
Then with sea to left or there aboot
We'll ride in weather that's fair.

The wee beasties may be there to bite
We have potions and lotions though
They might try to put up a nibbling fight
But we are tough , ye know.

North Coast the gem of roads to ride
The NC500 by name
A journey we can no longer hide
The wilds of Scotland reign.
